Duties as a Sanitation Supervisor include:
- Oversee all sanitation operations, including equipment disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly activities.
- Monitor sanitation supply inventory and initiate purchase orders to maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials and chemicals.
- Prepare, test, and verify sanitation chemical concentrations and dilutions to ensure proper formulation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sanitation documentation and records.
- Perform cleaning verification swabbing and take corrective measures for any out-of-specification results.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and sanitation schedules aligned with production demands.
- Oversee garbage removal, waste management, and proper disposal of sanitation materials.
- Conduct end-of-shift walkthroughs to verify cleanliness and compliance across designated areas.
- Support and participate in both internal and external sanitation audits.
- Train, coach, and mentor sanitation team members to ensure proper procedures and continuous improvement.
- Conduct employee performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and development plans.
- Lead regular team meetings to communicate sanitation objectives, updates, and process improvements.
Experience required:
- 3+ years working in a food processing/manufacturing environment
- 3+ years working in a supervisor/management role
