Process Technician - Injection Molding
- Location: Garland, TX
- Shift: 3rd shift 7pm-9am Sunday - Thursday
- Industry: Plastic Manufacturing - Injection Molding experince required
- Pay: $28-32 an hour DOE + Overtime
We’re seeking an experienced Process Technician to optimize production performance by setting, adjusting, and troubleshooting molding processes. This role is key to maintaining part quality, reducing downtime, and driving operational efficiency across multiple molding machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot injection molding processes to ensure consistent part quality and productivity.
- Set up and adjust process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle times, etc.) according to job standards.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct first-article inspections and monitor in-process quality checks.
- Identify opportunities for cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of setups, changes, and process adjustments.
- Support mold changes, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety, GMP, and 5S standards.
