We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our fast-paced packaging plant. This role is vital in keeping production lines running efficiently by performing both preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and troubleshoot breakdowns on packaging lines and supporting equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Work on conveyors, sealers, wrappers, labeling machines, compressors, and other packaging equipment
- Support continuous improvement projects to increase reliability and efficiency
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Skills & Experience:
- Proven maintenance experience in a packaging, manufacturing, or food production environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving production environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
