We are working with an established plastics company based in Greenwood, IN. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join their team on Day Shift in return for flexible pay along with excellent employment benefits which include Healthcare, Vision and Dental insurance, PTO and 401k match.
Duties will include:
- Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
- Troubleshooting machinery and performing preventative maintenance routinely.
- Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
- Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
- Ability to read engineering blueprints
- Work on hydraulic systems and troubleshoot PLCs
- Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment as needed.
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Complying with health and safety regulations.
Experience required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic
- Trade or vocational school graduation is excellent
- Mechanical aptitude and ability.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
