We are working with an established Metal Processing company based in Delaware, Ohio. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team on Days, Monday-Friday on the 1st shift in return for a salary in the region of between $25-$32/hour along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Insurance.
Duties and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Mechanic include:
- Performs both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on equipment
- Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts and examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and uses intuition and experience to complement data.
- Able to read and interpret written information and able to write clearly and informatively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3+ years of Maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- This position has the potential for extensive growth- looking for candidates who want to make the next step in their maintenance career to management within the next 2-3 years
