Maintenance Supervisor

- $80,000 – $85,000 + Bonus
- Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:30pm)
- Occasional Saturdays required

You will be responsible for leading the maintenance function within a food processing facility, ensuring all production and packaging equipment is operating efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing maintenance technicians while driving preventative maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement across the plant.
This includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across processing, packaging, and facility equipment, while maintaining compliance with food safety, GMP, and safety standards.
Key Duties:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians
- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair
- Implement and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Minimize downtime through fast and effective fault finding
- Support machine changeovers, startups, and SMED initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures
- Maintain maintenance records, reporting, and documentation
- Manage spare parts inventory, purchasing, and maintenance budgets
- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, and OSHA standards
- Enforce Lockout Tagout and safety procedures
- Work with third-party vendors when required
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Maintain plant equipment, tools, and facilities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead (Minimum 3 Years)
- Background in food manufacturing, packaging, or CPG environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission
- Experience with high-speed production and packaging equipment
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing maintenance teams
- Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and OSHA standards
- Experience with CMMS, ERP, or maintenance systems
- Welding experience (stainless steel preferred) is a strong advantage
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
