Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring effective troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all facility equipment and grounds. This role is crucial for upholding safety, quality, and production efficiency, supporting overall operational goals.
Must have Injection Molding experience for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision & Coordination: Lead and manage the maintenance team, overseeing, planning, and issuing work orders for equipment modifications, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs. Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to minimize downtime.
- Hands-on Support: Provide hands-on support on the production floor, assisting with complex equipment and facility repairs, including power, water, and air systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Monitor and manage the Predictive and Preventative Maintenance system and schedule to ensure machine and equipment capability and calibration are maintained.
- Continuous Improvement: Plan, develop, and implement new continuous improvement activities for operations. Actively participate in leadership and internal problem-solving teams to support ongoing improvement efforts.
- Safety & Training: Conduct monthly safety walk-throughs with the management team and participate in safety reviews. Conduct training for Lock out/Tag out, Crane, Confined Space, and Scissor lift operations.
- Operational Planning: Review production, quality, and maintenance reports to plan and modify maintenance activities. Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
- Procurement & Inventory: Manage the Maintenance Work Order system. Request tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations. Generate purchase orders and send out RFQs as needed. Maintain all company vehicles, including powered industrial trucks.
- Facility Management: Maintain all aspects of building and grounds maintenance where applicable.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Leadership Skills: At least 1 year of experience leading/supervising a maintenance team.
- Technical Skills: Ability to inspect operating machines and equipment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage a maintenance work order system and plan activities based on production and quality reports.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to be a team player.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
