We are working with an established Plastics and Packaging Company based in Cincinnati, OH. They are recruiting for an Maintenance Manager to join their team on days in return for a salary in the region of $110,000 - $125,000 along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental.
Duties as an Maintenance Manager:
- Creating and managing team schedules to ensure coverage across a manufacturing operation.
- Managing a team between 8-12 Mechanics and Technicians
- Evaluating performance and providing feedback.
- Create individual development plans for training
- Responsible for managing multiple shifts of maintenance technicians and/or maintenance supervisors.
- Ensuring all environmental, health and safety standards are met and complied with to ensure an accident-free workplace.
- Implementing CMMS Program
- Manage spare part inventory levels to ensure critical components are always available for preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
- Develop policies and procedures to improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize the organization maintenance management plan in accordance with its goals to improve uptime and minimize costs.
- Performs maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
- Manages maintenance personnel by setting direction and priorities.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Comfortable “leading-by-example” using hands on training to develop and train team members.
- Proficient computer skills working in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated, results oriented and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with working with 120V, 240V, and 480V.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, technical college.
- 3 years of maintenance management experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience working with industrial machinery is required.
