Maintenance Electrician

- $32 - $45 /hour
- Overtime Available 1.5x Rate over 40 hours
We are working with an established food processing company based in Harrisonburg, VA. They are recruiting for multiple Maintenance Electricians to join their team during their 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of $32 - $45 /hour along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- PLC troubleshooting
- Electrical wiring, troubleshooting and Diagnostics
- Interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Troubleshoot and replace AC/DC motors 24v - 480v
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair food processing equipment and machinery including, Reiser equipment, Day Pack Machines, Cone Lines, Meyan, Whole Bird Bagging machines, VSP Machines, OSSID, Spiral Freezer, Cryovac.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- At least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably within food production or processing
- Maintenance expertise in electrical functions of the equipment
- Familiarity with machine configuration, rebuilding, stripping, and preventative maintenance
- Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) electrical troubleshooting knowledge
