Machine Operator

- $18 - $20 per hour
You will be working at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Northeast Texas. We are recruiting for Machine Operator to join their team on 2nd Shift (3pm – 11:30pm) in return for a salary in the region of $18 - $20 per hour.

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining complex production machinery, troubleshooting issues, and training less experienced operators while adhering to all production and safety protocols.
Duties and responsibilities of a Machine Operator:
- Operate and set up assigned machines, with minimal supervision
- Working in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Identify and report machine malfunctions and need for minor repairs
- Load and unload materials into machines.
- Perform quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet specifications
- Train and mentor less experienced machine operators
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Complete and maintain accurate production documentation and logs
- Assist with routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubrication, as needed
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment operating machinery
- Knowledge of machine mechanics and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication, collaboration and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk/stand for an extended period.
- Must be able to lift, push, and move items weighing 40 pounds or more
