HVAC Maintenance Technician

We’re working with a manufacturing company near Cloverdale, IN, currently looking to recruit an HVAC Maintenance Technician to support their operations across molding, paint lines, and other production areas.
This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 - $28, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for continued training and development.
Duties and responsibilities of the HVAC Maintenance Technician include:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems across all departments
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues with HVAC units, chillers, compressors, and ventilation systems
- Monitor environmental controls in paint booths and molding lines
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure HVAC systems meet operational standards
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and service activities
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- EPA Universal Certification is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills
