We are working with a busy manufacturing company based in North Cincinnati, Ohio. They are recruiting an experienced HR Manager to join their team working Monday – Friday onsite, in return for a salary in the region of $100,000 - $120,000 along with excellent employment benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR function across the site, ensuring compliance with employment law, manufacturing regulations, and company policies. This role will focus on people leadership, employee engagement, talent development, and driving HR best practices to support business growth.
This position requires a proven background in manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, along with hands-on experience in ADP and HR compliance systems.
Key Responsibilities as the HR Manager include:
- Lead the HR function across the manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Manage employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, HR policies, and manufacturing-related regulations.
- Oversee payroll and HR systems, with hands-on knowledge of ADP required.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and supervisors on HR policies and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and culture.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes and workforce planning.
- Partner with leadership to identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Lead investigations, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Proven HR leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with ADP payroll and HR systems.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and manufacturing regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred).
- HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) is advantageous.
