We are working with an established food processing company based in Swedesboro, NJ. They are recruiting for a Electromechanical Technician to join their team during their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of $32-$38/hour along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Modify/program PLC controls
- Recognize, troubleshoot, and repair electrical or control issues
- Support and train technicians and schedule their activities
- Keep up to date and detailed record of all work performed
- Maintain and repair production equipment
- Carry out planned and scheduled maintenance
- Identify and resolve breakdowns quickly to reduce delays and downtime
- Complete work in compliance with GMP, safety, and company guideline
Qualifications & Experience required:
- At least 4 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably within food production or processing
- Maintenance expertise in hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical functions of the equipment
- Familiarity with machine configuration, rebuilding, stripping, and preventative maintenance
- Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) electrical troubleshooting knowledge
