The Continuous Improvement Engineer drives change through initiatives that improve safety, quality, cost, schedule, growth, and engagement. Proficiency in Lean, DMAIC, FMEA, SMED, RCA, and Kaizen is required, along with the ability to coach and mentor others in Continuous Improvement framework.

Key Responsibilities of a Continuous Improvement Engineer include:
- Lead and support high-priority Lean/DMAIC projects that impact plant KPIs.
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI systems, including MOS, problem-solving, standard work, and leadership practices.
- Deploy improvement initiatives using tools such as A3, Redzone, and loss control meetings.
- Embed Lean principles into plant culture, processes, and goals.
- Identify efficiencies, prioritize projects, and track results against cost-out targets.
- Coach and mentor employees in CI tools including RCA, 5S, and TPM methods.
- Act as a change agent by eliminating waste and driving value-added solutions.
- Lead Kaizen events and cross-functional teams to meet performance goals.
- Share best practices across facilities and collaborate with CI teams.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- 4-year degree preferably in Engineering, Business, or Science.
- 3-7 years combined related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with continuous improvement/Lean Six Sigma/TPM efforts preferred.
