We’re working with a manufacturing company based in Cloverdale, IN, who are seeking an experienced Automation Maintenance Technician to join their team on 1st shift or 2nd shift.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary between $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, along with excellent benefits including bonuses, health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities of the Automation Maintenance Technician include:
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi) and HMIs
- Set up and maintain robots (Yaskawa, UR, Omron) and automation cells
- Perform electrical maintenance, wiring, and repairs
- Diagnose faults in PLCs, drives, servos, motors, and HMIs
- Maintain and repair production machinery as needed
- Support automation for molding presses and assembly equipment
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
- Lead cycle time studies and improvement projects
- Work with engineering, maintenance, and production teams
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation controls, and robotic equipment
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and practices
